Respect. Honor. Remember.

Burpees for Bucci

On May 11, 2023 Trooper Tamar Bucci’s MSP classmates traveled by bus from Massachusetts to Washington, DC for National Police Week. They stopped in all eight states along the way to perform acts of kindness and do burpees. This was a very special way to remember and honor Tamar – by incorporating her passion for fitness with her drive to help when and where she could.

Kickoff of Burpees for Bucci at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA on May 11, 2023.

In Washington DC

In addition to honoring those who lost their lives in the line of duty, National Police week offers community and support to family and law enforcement officers alike. Below are snaps taken by both Tamar’s family and the State Police Association of Massachusetts depicting a few of the meaningful moments experienced during National Police Week 2023.
